Key Responsibilities:
● Execute and maintain Python scripts for web crawling and web scraping to gather critical data for our e-commerce operations.
● Troubleshoot and adjust code as needed to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of automation tasks.
● Collaborate effectively with team members, adapting to existing codebases and contributing while prioritizing clear and comprehensive documentation for all codes and automation processes.
● Work on front-end and back-end data extraction tasks for multiples marketplaces
● Contribute to the development and maintenance of a data warehouse, updating crawling and scraping results in the database.
● Apply SQL skills, especially with Postgresql, for data storage and retrieval in the evolving data architecture.
● Implement and integrate APIs to retrieve data directly from marketplaces and external sources.
● Foster knowledge sharing by articulating coding methodologies, best practices, and insights to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning. Qualifications:
● Proven experience in web crawling, web scraping, and automation tasks using Python.
● Strong proficiency in Python, with a focus on Pandas, Beautifulsoup, Selenium and Requests.
● Basic knowledge of web development to navigate front-end and back-end structures to locate relevant data.
● Familiarity with SQL, specifically Postgresql, for database management.
● Understanding of API implementation and utilization for direct data retrieval.
● Experience using Git for version control
● Good-to-have: Exposure to cloud automation, preferably with Google Cloud Platform
● E-commerce knowledge and experience working with multiple marketplaces is a plus.
